My Heart May Be Weeping, But It Is Still Beating

Hey!

I guess you all know about my crisis.

I wanted to talk about life today...I feel as if I should start adding life lessons to my blog; to give another reason to stop on by.
We are all mortals. As far as I know...
Anyway, mortality is a great thing, but it has it's cons. For one, being a mortal does mean you end up dying. Being immortal means you life for ever. But with immortality, what use is aging if you'll life forever?
You must not be getting my point. Here it is:
Live your life to the fullest.
Why? Because your life with eventually end, one way or the other.
With that put it our heads, you'd think that it would awesome to be immortal, don't you?
Here are the possible downturns:
*What if you end up never aging?
*What if you don't have a regular pulse; a heart?
*What if you fell in love with a mortal(saying you are immortal)and then end up staying (put wanted age here) while your lover kept on aging until they were old enough to be oh...maybe a parent or grandparent? What would you think then?

Of course we don't know what it would be like to be immortal. There are a million possibilities!
My point is, even when your depressed or the happiest person in the world; rich, poor, middle class; male or a female you need to live to the fullest.
Have new experiences. Push yourself to the limit. Have fun. Don't listen. Heck, it's summer, there are endless possibilities.
Even if you're a stickler for safety, there should be some way you can enjoy yourself.
When I spoke of immortality, it reminded me of Twilight. What a fantasy! Yes, it is interesting to think about. But in this case, we're talking about regular people living forever. Not vampires.
So this brings us to a conclusion. What motivates us? What passes us through the years? How can we live to the fullest with the knowledge of understanding this life won't be forever?
Okay, readers, it's up to you all now. Comment up on what you thought of this post and if you have any answers to questions I put up or ask any questions at all!
Have a great week!

  1. Do sorry to read about your aunt. I haven't been on here in ages, either, so I just read your postings now. Hope you are coping and best wishes to your family.

  2. First of all,I am so sorry for your loss. Only time can heal the pain you're experiencing right now. However, your aunt's memories will live forever. Second, thanks for visiting my blog and for the nice comments. Third, your blog is very inspiring. Your post today made me think. Yes,I do search for immortality. Not with my physical being but the legacy that I will leave my children or anybody that I positively affected. As you, I am a scrapbooker. I am not a famous person outside my own circle and nobody will write about me and my life. SO I DO IT...hoping that the next generations will get to know who I am long after I'm gone. And then, I become immortal. LOL. And yes, since I'm constantly capturing my life in pictures and documenting the good, the bad and the ugly, I tend to TRY to live to the fullest each day.
